Ghost Soldier Second Trailer: Jim Caviezel Goes to War Against a Ruthless Corporation in William Eubank's Action Thriller

Sony Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for Ghost Soldier, promising a hard-hitting action thriller packed with high-stakes confrontations, advanced weaponry and a fight for justice. Starring Jim Caviezel in the lead, the film follows a former Green Beret whose quiet life is shattered when a powerful corporation threatens to take over his rural hometown. With explosive action and a lone warrior standing against overwhelming odds, the latest trailer offers a glimpse into a battle where protecting one's community becomes a matter of survival.

Caviezel plays Henry “Fitz” Fitzgerald, a solitary man with a mysterious past who has chosen to live away from the chaos of the outside world in Wyoming. However, his peaceful existence comes to an end when a powerful foreign corporation sets its sights on his land and the property of his neighbours, seeking to turn their rural community into a lucrative business opportunity. What the corporation fails to understand is that Fitz is no ordinary resident. A former Special Forces soldier and skilled weapons systems engineer, he possesses the training, intelligence and resources to fight back.

The film's central conflict takes a thrilling turn when Fitz unleashes an arsenal of advanced weapons unlike anything his enemies have encountered before. Combining years of lethal military training with his expertise in weapons development, he transforms into a one-man army determined to protect the people around him. But Ghost Soldier is not simply about firepower and action sequences; at its heart, the story explores what happens when ordinary people face powerful interests willing to put profit above their lives and livelihoods.

Joining Caviezel in the cast are Olivia Thirlby, Beau Knapp, Garret Dillahunt and Shea Whigham. The ensemble brings additional depth to the action-driven narrative, which places a close-knit rural community at the centre of a dangerous corporate conflict. As the stakes rise, Fitz must rely on his instincts, military experience and personal code of justice to confront an opponent with significant power and resources. The film's premise sets up a tense showdown between one determined individual and an organisation that believes it can get whatever it wants.

Ghost Soldier is directed by William Eubank, the filmmaker known for titles including Love, The Signal, Underwater, Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin and Land of Bad. Eubank takes on the action-thriller genre with a story that combines military expertise, cutting-edge technology and a fight to defend one's home. The screenplay is written by Chris Papasadero, with the narrative built around Fitz's transformation from a man seeking solitude into a formidable force standing in the way of corporate expansion.

With its second trailer now out, Ghost Soldier is gearing up to deliver a gritty action experience centred on survival, loyalty and resistance against those who abuse their power. Jim Caviezel's character promises to be the driving force behind the film, bringing together tactical combat skills and a deeply personal mission. Ghost Soldier is scheduled to arrive on November 11, 2026, giving action fans a new title to watch out for as the film's release approaches.
